A lot of high end wedding stationers never meet with their client and only go off an email or two when designing. We pride ourselves in a deeper connection with our couples, which is ultimately what inspires our unique designs.

If the wedding seems like a fit based on the inquiry, we will schedule a call with the couple and the planner to talk further. (Although if the planner wants to meet with us first to get logistics out of the way, we’d be happy to do so!)

What’s the Call For?

The first part of the call is where we’ll go over our process and answer any questions you have about how everything works.

The second part of the call is where we’ll ask the couple questions in order to get a feel of the couple’s relationship, personalities, and what excites them about the wedding. We will also ask about the planner’s vision and what the wedding aesthetics are looking like so far.

The goal is that at the end of the call, the couple and planner know what to expect working with us, and we know enough to come up with our Design Proposal.

What Kind of Questions Will Isabel Ask?

Isabel loves asking fun “get to know you” questions in order to dig deeper and really connect with the couples. Though it changes every time, here are some questions she’s asked in the past:

• Is there anything you’re known for as a couple? How would your friends describe you together?
• When you think about the wedding week, is there a specific moment or detail that plays in your mind that you’re excited for?
• What do you want your guests to say about your wedding a year later?

We will also go over specifics like what budget to allocate to Saves vs. Invites vs. Day Of, how many invitations you need, whether or not you want to do physical RSVPs, etc.

Do I Need to Come Prepared With Anything?

Not really! It’s mainly a “get to know you” call and it’s pretty casual.

However, if you would like to come with any ideas or inspiration, that is totally fine. Please see our Inspiration Guide post if you want to know what type of inspiration is helpful vs. unhelpful!

This call is pre-commitment, though we only offer Design Calls to couples who seem like a fit via the inquiry form.
