Boundaries + Communication

Our Boundaries & Communication

At Gates Paper Co., we believe that running a successful business means maintaining professionalism while delivering an exceptional client experience. We aim to balance the warmth of “we are your artist friend” with the structure of “we are a business.” We value personal connection, but we also know that in order to create beautiful, high-end stationery and provide the level of service you expect, we must uphold clear boundaries.

There’s No Such Thing As a Wedding Invitation Emergency

We take deadlines seriously and always follow through on what we say. If for any reason a problem arises or something changes, we will always communicate openly and keep you informed every step of the way.

That said, we believe that there is no such thing as a wedding invitation emergency.

Your stationery is important, and we prepare for every deadline—especially for Day Of Paper Goods, which we complete at least two weeks in advance to ensure everything is ready on time. If any issues arise, we’ll handle them efficiently and professionally within our established process.

But if you are looking for someone available for urgent calls at 9pm about a font choice (true story—we’ve learned from experience), that’s not us. We work hard to ensure that deadlines are met without last-minute panic.

Healthy Boundaries for a Better Experience

Our boundaries are in place because we’ve learned from experience that they help both us and our clients—planners and couples alike—have the best experience possible.

By maintaining healthy boundaries, we ensure a seamless, enjoyable process that allows us to focus on creating stunning designs while keeping everything organized and stress-free.

Trust the process—we’ve refined it over years to serve you better! A well-structured business ensures we can focus on creating stunning designs while maintaining a seamless workflow. This is what separates those who simply create stationery from those who build a successful luxury brand.

Preferred Communication: Email

We are always happy to chat and connect, and sometimes Isabel may send a casual DM to check in. However, for all professional communication, we prefer to stick to email. This ensures we keep track of every detail in one place and that nothing falls through the cracks. We ask that you allow 1-2 business days for a response.

Our email is info@gatespaperco.com.

We appreciate your respect for these boundaries and look forward to working together to create something beautiful!
